At the annual commencement of the Women's Medical College in Philadelphia recently, Miss Alma A. LAPHAM of Carleton (St John) was graduated and received the degree of M.D. She was the second New Brunswick lady who has had the degree conferred upon her; Mrs. Susie BRUCE, who is now practicing her profression in Chicago, being the first having been graduated from the Chicago College two years ago.
