It is supposed that the man who fell from Victoria Wharf on Monday night was a seaman on board the barque "Melbourne". At 5 o'clock yesterday morn., Florence DRISCOLL, the watchman discovered the body lying in the slip. It was removed to the Dead House where it was identified as the body of Thomas McCRYSTALL, about 29 years of age. The deceased was unmarried and had lived with his mother on St. Patrick St. (St. John) For four or five years he had been employed in the fire dept. services as stoker of No. 2 engine.
