Brockton, Mass. 'Daily Enterprise', Oct. 25 - A young girl 21 years of age arrived at Campobello two weeks ago today from Steeves Mountain (West. Co.) N.B. by name of Roxa Anna STEEVES and almost immediately upon her arrival was taken ill with spinal meningitis. Except a young girl companion who came with her, she had no friend in the city. Through the exertion of her physician she was taken into the family of Giles GARDNER on South street and everything done for her, but she passed away this morn. Her brother-in-law, J.B. MITTON arrived a few days ago from New Brunswick and was by her side when she died. The remains were taken to her late home at Steeves Mountain. - Miss Steeves was the d/o Archibald E. STEEVES. Saturday night her body was brought to Salisbury and buried on Sunday.
