Reference number: P9-9

Place : Saint Leonard
Date : c 1915

Three railway companies served St Leonard over the years, i.e. Canadian Pacific, Intercolonial, and Transcontinental, which later became Canadian National. Canadian Pacific began stopping at St. Leonard in 1890 once it had bought out the New Brunswick Railway Company. This station was built in 1908 and demolished in 1930 to make way for a roomier station for Canadian National. It included a Western Union telegraph office.
