Located 3.93 km SSE of Central Blissville and 2.26 km NW of Hoyt: Blissville Parish, Sunbury County: included Oromocto South Branch: PO 1856-1871: in 1866 Oromocto South Branch was a farming community with about 175 families, including 7 Anderson, 9 Dewitt, 8 Duplisea, 13 Hoyt, 20 Mersereau, 12 Smith and 8 Webb families: Blissville was a station on the European and North American Railway and, including surrounding settlements, had a population of 600: PO Blissville 1871-1922: in 1866 Blissville was a farming community with about 33 families and in 1871 Blissville and surrounding district had a population of 300: in 1898 Blissville had 1 post office, 2 stores, 1 church and a population of 100.
