: created from
Wellington Parish
in 1826: probably named for Ann Dundas, wife of Sir Howard Douglas who was the lieutenant-governor of New Brunswick from 1823-1832, or for Robert Saunders Dundas, 2nd Viscount of Melville and first Lord of the Admiralty.
