Located on E side of the St. John River, 3.93 km SSE of Bulls Creek: Northampton Parish, Carleton County: named for the ferry operating here in 1809 by Aaron Putnam: PO 1865-1910: in 1871 it had a population of 150: in 1898 Ferryville was a settlement with 1 church and a population of 150: became part of Northampton.
