Located 5.71 km SSE of Oromocto and 3.93 km NNE of Geary: Burton Parish, Sunbury County: formerly known as Farnham Settlement for Ebenezer Farnham, who settled here in 1815: included the community of Dunlop: in 1866 Haneytown was a farming settlement with approximately 11 families, including the families of Hugh Haney, James Haney, Michael Haney and William Haney.
