Located on E side of Deer Island, 3.71 km S of Richardson: West Isles Parish, Charlotte County: named for George Leonard (c1757-1829), a Loyalist who settled here about 1801: PO from 1881 with G.F. Leonard as postmaster: in 1898 Leonardville was a fishing village with 1 post office, 4 stores, 2 churches and a population of 600.
