Located on the Kennebecasis River, 1.3 km W of Hampton, on the road to Norton Shore or Central Norton: Norton Parish, Kings County: formerly called Yankee Shore for the large number of settlers from Connecticut who settled here: included Pikwaket Mountain and Warneford: Lower Norton became part of Central Norton, then Hampton.
