Located 3.88 km W of Kierstead Mountain, on the road between Collina and Highfield: Studholm Parish, Kings County: Joseph Pearson, from Cumberland County, England, settled here in 1823 : Pearsonville was part of English Settlement : in 1866 English Settlement was a farming community with 20 families : PO Pearsons 1874-1896 with W.W. Pearson as the first postmaster : in 1898 "Pearsons" was a farming settlement with 1 post office, 1 store, 3 churches and a population of about 200 : PO Pearsonville 1896-1923.
