Located 2.56 km W of Sweeneyville and 3.71 km N of Légerville: Saint-Paul Parish, Kent County: laid out in 1854 as North Rhomboid Settlement: PO St. Paul's 1873-1955: in 1898 it was a farming and lumbering community with 1 post office, 2 stores, 1 sawmill, 1 grist mill, 1 shingle mill, 1 church and a population of 1,000: included the community of Richardville: PO 1882-1932: in 1898 Richardville was a farming and lumbering settlement with 1 post office, 1 store, 1 church and a population of 200: also included the settlement of Val-Richard: PO Saint-Paul from 1955.
