Located 3.93 km SSE of Salem and 5.15 km W of Havelock: Havelock Parish, Kings County: settled about 1814 and named for the large number of springs in the region: in 1866 Springhill was a farming community with about 8 families, including 4 Perry families: included the settlement of Lime Hill: PO 1883-1909: in 1898 Lime Hill was a farming settlement with 1 post office, 1 church and a population of about 75.
