Located on the Magaguadavic River, 9.36 km N of St. George: Saint George Parish, Charlotte County: Joel Bonny (1740-1824) settled here in 1796: PO Bonny River Station 1886-1969: in 1898 Bonny River was a station on the Shore Line Railway and a settlement with 1 post office, 1 store, 1 hotel, 1 sawmill and a population of 50: PO Bonny River 1951-1969.
