Located 3.9 km W of Upperton, on the road to Titusville: Upham Parish, Kings County: PO 1848-1969: in 1866 Upham was a farming community with about 120 resident families, including 8 Fowler families: in 1871 Upham and surrounding district had a population of 800: PO Upham Station 1882-1897: in 1898 Upham was a station on the Hampton and St. Martins Railway and a settlement with 2 stores, 1 sawmill, 1 cheese factory, 2 churches and a population of 200: included the settlement of Shepody Road: PO 1848-1923: in 1866 Shepody Road was a farming and lumbering community with approximately 30 resident families, including 7 McManus families: in 1871 it had a population of about 200: in 1898 Shepody Road had 1 post office, 1 church and a population of 35.
