Description
Located on E side of the St. John River, 4.29 km ENE of Southampton: Queensbury Parish, York County: PO 1853-1914 was located 6.5 km SE and served the communities of Day Hill and Granite Hill: PO Nackawick 1862-1914: in 1866 Upper Queensbury was a farming settlement with 85 families, including 5 Hallett, 9 Lint and 10 Parent families: in 1871 it had a population of 200: in 1898 Upper Queensbury had 1 post office, 1 church and a population of 125.
