Located 9.03 km NW of Aulac, on the road to Midgic: Sackville Parish, Westmorland County: PO 1852-1959: in 1866 Upper Sackville was a farming community with approximately 90 resident families, including 9 Estabrooks families, 7 Hicks families, 7 Thompson families and 8 Wheaton families: in 1871 it had a population of 250: in 1898 Upper Sackville was a farming and lumbering settlement with 1 post office, 1 store, 1 church and a population of 400: included Mount Pleasant: in 1866 Mount Pleasant was a farming community with about 5 resident families: Upper Sackville became part of the town of Sackville.
