Located on W side of the St. John River, 9 km NW of Bristol, on the road to River de Chute: Wicklow Parish, Carleton County: PO 1853-1912: in 1866 Upper Wicklow was a farming settlement with 40 families: in 1871 it had a population of 200: in 1898 Upper Wicklow had 1 store and a population of 100.
