Located 5.71 km NNW of Lakeville, on the road to Centreville: Wilmot Parish, Carleton County: PO 1840-1913: in 1866 Williamstown was a farming community with about 115 families: T.C. Trafton was a mill owner and William Reed and Calvin Churchill were justices of the peace: in 1898 Williamstown had 1 post office, 1 church and a population of 100.
