Located 4.54 km SE of Back Bay: Saint George Parish, Charlotte County: named for Samuel Bliss, who was a Loyalist grantee of the island: William Francis Ganong identified the Passamaquoddy name for Bliss Island as Seebes'kook: in 1911 there was one family living on the island.
