Located 6.7 km NW of Pointe-Verte: Beresford Parish, Gloucester County: settled by John Anderson from the town of Dumbarton in Scotland in 1840: in 1866 Anderson Settlement was a farming community with approximately 5 resident families, including the family of John Anderson: in 1871 it had a population of 50: became part of Belledune.
