Transcription of a copy of a letter from Father J.-A. Allard, East-Bathurst, to the Hon. L. P. D. Tilley, minister of lands and mines. – 2 December 1933. – 1 p. of textual records. Father Allard states that “Hundreds of maried [sic] people down the County are homeless having to be a burden to friends or relatives housing them”. He asks that at least 50 or 60 more lots be surveyed at once along the Miramichi Road. Approximately a year later, 44 additional lots were surveyed.
