Copy of letter from Benjamin R. Stevenson, surveyor general, Fredericton, N.B., to William Annand, immigration agent, London. – 1 October 1875. – 2 pp. of textual records. Stevenson states that a party of 26 Danes, which includes the Rev. Mr. Hansen, reached New Brunswick about mid-September. He notes that they will face difficulties during the coming winter, as autumn is an undesirable time for immigrants intending to become farmers to arrive.
