Copy of dispatch from E.G.S. Stanley to Lieutenant-Governor Sir Archibald Campbell enclosing agreement with the land company. – 7 March 1834. – 7 pp. of textual records. Lord Stanley informs Campbell that the charter of incorporation has passed the great seal and that the New Brunswick and Nova Scotia Land Company has paid its first installment. Stanley also states he plans to employ a portion of the money in the construction of “a direct road from Fredericton to the Great Falls of the St. John and in the erection of a Military Work at the Falls”.
