Immigration proposition for establishing a colony in New Brunswick to be called Stonehaven. – 16 August 1872. – 2 pp. of textual records. The proposition makes reference to Captain Brown and Mr. Stewart’s visit to the province for the purpose of establishing a colony and negotiating the conditions of settlement. It also notes that 50 or more families from Kincardineshire, Scotland, have decided to come to New Brunswick and sets out the terms of settlement.
