Abstract Parish of Sheffield, Sunbury County, Gentleman. Will dated 27 September 1787, proved 28 March 1788. Wife Mary one-half of the Improvements we possess agreeable to a Bond given by Nathaniel BARKER and my house and furniture. Son Jacob £25, lot on Middle Island and the house at my wife's decease. Grandsons John BARKER £17 3s. 4d, and Thomas BARKER £8 16s. 8d and Lot 16 on Middle Island to be divided between them. Grandson Jeremiah BARKER all my farming utensils. Daughter Mary 20 shillings. Son-in-law Nathan SMITH my best coat and waistcoat, 2 sheep and 30 shillings. Names daughters Elizabeth, Mary and Sarah and grand-daughter Mary DICKERSON. Son Jacob sole executor. Witnesses: Joseph BARKER, Samuel WOODWORTH, Enoch GERRISH.
