Abstract Digby, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia, Physician. Kings County records. Will dated at Digby, Nova Scotia 1 July 1809, proved at Digby, Nova Scotia, 20 February 1810. Probate granted 10 March 1810 in Kings County, New Brunswick. All real estate in New Brunswick, excepting and reserving what my son James has a quit claim from me, to my wife Gloryany. Son Hiram £5. Daughters Elizabeth or Betsey WRIGHT, Sally HOYT, Charlotte PHIPPS, Bethia [CHARLES], Fanny Matilda and Jane Gloryany BETTS each 5 shillings. Sons James Oliver and Lewis John, if alive, each 5 shillings. Elkana MORTON Esq. of Digby, Silas RAYMOND and Isaac PERRY of Kings County, New Brunswick, executors. Witnesses: James BECKWITH, Benjamin LAURENCE, Leverett BISHOP. Inventory, dated 3 April 1810, of goods in the Parish of Kingston, Kings County, valued at £95 by Walter BATES and Francis Newman PERKINS.
