Abstract Parish of Fredericton, York County, Yeoman. Will dated 5 December 1821, proved 13 February 1828. Eldest son George Owen BUCHANAN four pounds one shilling and my wearing apparel. Youngest son William BUCHANAN £4. Eldest daughter Margaret KING £4. Grand-son Samuel BUCHANAN £2. Youngest daughter Sarah Ann £50. Wife Ann and daughter Sarah Ann my house and the leased ground on which it stands, with residue of estate. Wife Ann sole Executrix. Witnesses: William TAYLOR, John F. TAYLOR, Matthew BRANNEN. CODICIL dated 20 April 1825 added James TAYLOR Junr. and Joseph GAYNOR as co-executors with wife and voided bequest of £50 to daughter Sarah Ann HARDING, stating it had been paid. Witnesses: Sarah Ann HARDING, Thomas TAYLOR, Thomas PICKARD.
