Abstract City of Saint John, St. John County, Smith and Armourer. Will dated 5 April 1823, proved 28 May 1825. Wife Mary use of estate for life and the watch which I have had so long in the family. Daughter Abigail, wife of John PAUL, three pounds. Son George CLARKE two pounds. After wife's death, estate to be sold and divided, one-fourth part each to son John CLARKE, son William CLARKE, son Gershom CLARKE, and the fourth part to be left for the use of the five children of my son George CLARKE, viz Sarah Ann, Mary Ann, William Alexander, John and George, equally as they come of age. Sons William CLARKE and Gershom CLARKE executors. Witnesses: Edwin W. GARRISON, James PETERS Junr., Charles J. PETERS.
