Abstract Parish of Hampstead, Queens County, Widow of Moses CLARKE Senior. Will dated 4 June 1805. Son Aaron CLARKE 5 shillings. Residue of estate to daughters Hannah KIMBLE, residing in the United States, Esther PRICE of Kings County and Sarah DeLONG of Queens County. Marcus PALMER and Stephen SMITH, both of the Parish of Hampstead, executors. Witnesses: [Gregore] CLARKE, Lydia CLARKE, Alexander KEVAND. On 14 June 1810 Marcus PALMER and Stephen SMITH appeared before the Surrogate for Queens County and declined acting as executors "as the(sic) cannot discover any property that the deceased has left to make the proving of the will necessary."
