Wife Elisabeth the house and farm where I live with the stock and £10 per annum, to be paid out of the part of my farm leased to Luke HARRISON and Lemuel COATES, for life while my widow. Daughters Mary WOOD, Hannah RIPPLE, Sarah CHAPMAN, Jane HARRISON, Ann SHARP, Margaret STOUT and Alice STOCKTON each £5. Eldest son Robert 10 shillings. Residue of real estate to my six sons John, Lemuel, Matthew, William, Thomas and George, to be equally divided when the youngest comes of age 21, son John to have his first choice. Grandson David COATES £30 at age 21 and each son to give David COATES a cow when they receive their portion of my estate. Each of my seven daughters before named £5. Residue of estate to my six sons. Friend John FRERICESONS(sic) one guinea. My Three Youngest sons, Thomas, George and David, as Before Named shall stay with their mother until they come of age. When land is divided, Lemuel COATES shall pay John COATES £20 and Matthew shall pay John £10 for his services for four years work. Eldest son Robert COATES, but in case of his decease Peter WOOD, and John COATES, but in case of his decease Lemuel COATES, executors. Witnesses: Richard GOSLIN, Samuel GOSLING, George PITFIELD.
