Abstract No residence cited. St. John County records. Administration granted [31 March] 1831 to Robert RANKIN. Fellow bondsmen Robert W. CROOKSHANK and Thomas C. HEAVISIDE, all of the City of Saint John. Petition of Robert RANKIN dated 23 March 1831 stated that he was acting under a Power of Attorney of John FENTON, merchant, of Liverpool, England, the administrator of the will of Henry CUMMING, for the purpose of recovering debts due to deceased in this Province; that deceased had left a will appointing his brother executor, but the named executor was also deceased.
