Abstract Parish of Springfield, Kings County, Yeoman. Will dated 1 April 1833, proved 29 May 1833. Wife Mary entire estate while widow, reserving the following bequests. Heirs of my son James Embree, deceased, 7 shillings and 6 pence to be divided among them. Son Caleb one cow. Daughter Jane £10. Daughter Mary £10. Daughter Elizabeth £10. Three youngest daughters Susanna, Sarah and Isabell one cow and three sheep after coming to age and the upper half of my half lot of land on Bellisle Bay adjoining land owned by Isaiah KEIRSTEAD. Son Walter Clark all my landed homestead property, goods, effects and chattels and a tract of marsh on Piscobac Creek bounded by lands owned by David ODELL and John DAVIS. Wife Mary and son Caleb DAVIS Junr. executors. Witnesses: Claudius HAMILTON, William B. SPRAGG, Henry A. SCOVIL. CODICIL dated 15 April 1833 appoints son John DAVIS as an executor. Witnesses: Henry A. SCOVIL, Elizabeth WETMORE. Inventory, dated 18 April 1833, filed 29 May 1833, covered three pages, not totalled or signed.
