Abstract Parish of Springfield, Kings County. Will dated 19 November 1831, proved 3 January 1832. Son Daniel Gillies DAVIS one half my farm at age 21. Son Anthony Gleen(sic) DAVIS the other half of the farm at age 21. Daughters Margaret DAVIS and Mary DAVIS all my bedding and when my younger daughters Sarah Elizabeth DAVIS and Deborah Elenor DAVIS attain age 18 they to have an equal share of the bedding. All stock, farming utensils and household furniture to be sold. Brothers John DAVIS and Caleb DAVIS joint executors. Witnesses: Thomas KETCHUM, Andrew SHANKLIN, Weeden F. WETMORE. Three pages of inventory, dated 23 December 1831, not totalled or signed.
