Abstract Parish of Westfield, Kings County. Will dated 27 May 1788, proved 10 June 1788. Wife Hannah all lands in Deerfield, Conway, Shelburne and Barnardston in the Province of Massachusetts Bay that I have right in or claim to, lands of late brother Samuel DICKINSON "which I Hier(sic) in Law in said Province of Massachucets(sic) Bay or Elsewhere;" all lands in Carlton in the City of Saint John; all lands on west side of the Grand Bay in Parish of Westfield, Kings County; lands at the head of [Melcash] Creek in the Parish of Westfield, Kings County; lands on Long Island in the Parish of Hampsted, Queens County, New Brunswick; lands in Gage Town on Grimross Neck, Queens County, and all those lands due me as a Loyalist. Daughter Amelia all lands on east side of the long Reach, Parish of Kingston, Kings County purchased of Joseph HOYT and £200 to be taken from the last dividend of my claim against the Treasury, the interest and profits to be applied to her education and maintenance until she attains age 18. Wife Hannah all my claims for Losses presented to the Treasury or Board of Commissioners except the £200 mentioned, all my servants, household goods, etc. Friend Benjamin Munson(sic) WOOLSEY executor. Witnesses: Ichabod SQUIER, William FISK, [Zacheray LEONARD] (Record Book A, page 7, shows the third witness as "Andreas HAMM"). Inventory, dated 2 September 1788, valued at £1,106 including horses listed at £22, negroes at £45 and Claims on the Treasury at £626.
