Abstract "In little Shemogue and about one mile to the Eastward of the Harbours mouth," Township of Botsford, Westmorland County, Farmer. Will dated 5 February 1827, proved 18 June 1828. Son James £5. Daughter Margaret £10. Daughter Elisabeth £15. Son John 8½ acres of marsh land adjoining James' marsh and £15 provided he stay on the farm until he is age 24. Son George six acres of marsh adjoining John's marsh and £15 at age 21. Daughter Hannah £15 three years after she is of age. Daughter Mary £15 three years after she is of age. Daughter Sarah £15 three years after she is of age. Son William my farm, reserving one half to my wife Elisabeth during her widowhood. Wife and son William all cattle and movables. "I hope that George DOBSON and William SPENCE, both living at Cape Torment, will see the Widow and Children righted." Witnesses: Thomas WOOD, James GRANT. Administration granted 18 June 1828 to Elizabeth GRANT and William SIMPSON.
