Abstract Parish of Sussex, Kings County, Farmer. Will dated 12 March 1831, proved 6 July 1831. Wife Margarett Ann use of one third of the house, furniture and property during her life time and the use of two cows, but not the increase thereof. Two oldest sons William Henry and Oliver my farm when they come of age. Third and fourth sons John Gidney and Robert to be kept at school till they receive a good plain Education, then executors to place them in stores or at trades and they to receive £120 each when they come of age. Daughter Sophia Augusta £50 when she comes of age, together with suitable schooling and maintenance. Wife Margarett Ann HALLETT, John Cougle VAIL Esq. and Joshua Dean GIDNEY of Sussex Vale executors. Witnesses: G. H. HAZEN, W. Y. F. BARBARIE, John MORRISON. Inventory, dated 4 July 1831, valued at £906 by Thomas A. ARNOLD, John MORRISON and W. Y. F. BARBARIE.
