Abstract City of Saint John, St. John County, Esquire. Holographic will dated 20 March 1793, proved 5 April 1808. Wife Ann all household furniture, plate, books, apparel, bedding, linnen and Servants. Also one-third of all real and personal estate. Wife to have use of house and lots of land in Carleton, with all horses, cattle and implements of farming and gardening, the rents of my storehouse and the rents of my two farms in the Parish of Lancaster so long as she shall reside & remain in the province of New Brunswick. Son Gulian LUDLOW, son G. Verplanck LUDLOW, daughter Mary DASHWOOD and daughter Frances LUDLOW the remaining two-thirds of real and personal estate. Wife Ann LUDLOW and sons Gulian LUDLOW and Gabriel Verplanck LUDLOW executors. Witnesses: Edward SANDS, William WARD, James HENDRICKS. CODICIL dated 23 January 1808 appointed brother George Duncan LUDLOW and John ROBINSON as additional executors, and that each executor have £100 to purchase mourning.
