Abstract Late of Parish of Trelawny, Jamaica, now of St. George, N. B., Carpenter. York County records. Will dated 22 December 1786, proved 7 May 1787. Uncle Patrick McGIBBON of Trelawny, Jamaica, to retain possession of property in the same manner and under the same Mortgage until all my Debts are paid by the profits arising therefrom, which I think will be in the year 1791. Uncle to transmit yearly £25 sterling to my father, Duncan McGIBBON of Glenquaich, Perthshire, North Britain, from the hire of the Negroes Jamnica, Perth, Pollidor, George, Tom, Dick and Cudjae, and income from Lots 71, 72 and 88 in the Town Lots of Barrett in Trelawny, Jamaica. When debts paid, my uncle, Patrick McGIBBON, and Patrick McNABB of Parish of Portland, Jamaica, Planter, "My Brother," to sell the 7 Negroes and lodge the monies in the Royal Bank of Scotland until my sisters Peggy and Ann are of age or married. Older sister £200 when married if parents consent to marriage, £100 if against their will. Youngest sister £150 on the same terms, one-half in case of an improper match. Mary Ann CAMPBELL when she is married with consent of her father, James CAMPBELL of Saint George, N. B., my uncle, £150. Amy CAMPBELL, her sister, £100 on same terms. Brother Duncan McGIBBON, at home with his Father, £200. Any residue of estate to father and mother. Patrick McNABB Lot 72 in Barret Town. Brother Joseph McGIBBON Lot 88 in Barret Town. Brother Francis McGIBBON Lot 71 in Barret Town. Uncle Patrick McGIBBON writing desk and escritoire and £50. Uncle James CAMPBELL my clothing. My saw mill privilege to his eldest son, if ever he has any, if not to his eldest daughter Mary Ann CAMPBELL. Amy CAMPBELL Lot in Town of Saint George. Brother Joseph McGIBBON, or any other of my brothers that first settle the same, any other lands that may be chartered in my name. Uncle Patrick McGIBBON and my brother Patrick McNABB executors. Witnesses: John McKENZIE, George GUNN, Alexander MYLNE.
