On 19 January 1825 the next of kin were cited to appear and show cause why administration should not be granted to Leveret H. DeVEBER, a creditor. Administration granted 31 January 1825 to Leveret H. DeVEBER, merchant, as a principal creditor. Fellow bondsmen Nelson DeVEBER and Richard SANDS. Inventory, dated 28 and 29 December 1831, valued at £2,305, including seven lots of land and The Mansion farm, and a library consisting of 100 volumes in English and 40 volumes in French.
