Abstract Parish of St. Patrick, Charlotte County, Tanner. Intestate. Administration granted 5 July 1828 to son Dominicus MILLIKEN. Fellow bondsmen John WILSON and Lachlan CAMERON. Gilbert SEELY, Jonathan WALLACE and Thomas CARMAN directed to appraise. On 14 January 1832 Dominicus MILLIKEN deposed that warrants of appraisal and administration not acted upon account his absence from home and that one appraiser, Thomas L. NICHOLSON had removed to City of Saint John. Order of appraisal issued to Lachlan CAMERON, Thomas H. CARMAN and John McKEAN. File contains documents relative to the appointment of Christiana Green MILLIKEN, wife of Robert STEVENSON, as administratrix of estate of Benjamin MILLIKEN, tanner, late of St. Andrews, circa 1843. Documentation not sufficiently complete to determine relationship to deceased; petition states she kept his house for the term of ten years.
