Abstract Parish of Hampton, Kings County, Farmer. Will undated, proved 23 July 1823. Wife [Susan] ODELL (as "Sophia ODELL" in Record Book A, page 304) one cow, six ewes and all the household furniture. Son Nimiah ODELL (as "Nehemiah ODELL" in Record Book A) 400 acres of land on Hammond River adjoining land belonging to Gilbert ODELL, all the farming utensils and one "yoak of Oxen," one cow, one horse and the young cattle. House where I live to be sold and divided, sons Gilbert and Elisha each two shares, daughters Marther INNES, Nancy McLEOD, Elizabeth FORSTER, Jane DRAPER and Mary ODELL each one share, one cow and four sheep. Friends Richard SHERWOOD and James BEAN executors. Witnesses: Clarissa KETCHUM, Mary Ann KETCHUM, Isaac KETCHUM, Humphrey BULL. Inventory, dated 11 July 1823, valued at £291 by Henry FORSTER, James SMITH Senr. and Humphrey BULL.
