Abstract Parish of Sackville, Westmorland County, Farmer. Will dated 9 June 1804, proved 17 April 1805. "Being advanced in years." Wife the farm where I live. Son Joshewa(sic) Lots 15 and 23 in C Division, 60 acres woodland, part of Lot 59 in B Division, all livestock and farm implements, and the farm after his mother's death. Son Eliphelit READ Lot 23 in C Division. Sons Eliphelit, William and Joshewa Lot 29 in C Division. Sons Joseph and Benjamin Lot 39 in Letter C. Daughters Hannah, Rebecka and Sarah the household furniture after wife's death and £10. My grandchildren Mary and Rebecka CANEDA (KENNEDY ?) to share equally with one of my daughters. Sons William and Joshewa READ executors. Witnesses: Christopher HARPER, William REED, Benjamin REED.
