All real and personal estate whether in England, Scotland, New Brunswick, or elsewhere, to William SCOTT of New Brunswick, my reputed illigimite(sic) son. Reputed son William SCOTT sole executor. Witnesses: [ ? ] [ ? ], John Henry McLEAN, Mary CRUSE, Tower Hill. Petition of John SCOTT of Greenock, Scotland, Ship Builder, 13 January 1834, stated he only brother and nearest of kin to Christopher SCOTT, who died unmarried and without lawful issue, contended that Christopher SCOTT never made any lawful will during his lifetime, and requests administration of brother's estate. Despite the petition of John SCOTT, the will was approved and entered for probate 7 September 1837.
