Munson PICKETT and Peter SCRIBNER, all of the Parish of Kingston. Petition of William SCRIBNER, filed 27 March 1837, stated that petitioner's brother, Jesse SCRIBNER, left the Province about fifteen years since and went to the United States of America, that Jesse SCRIBNER died at Boston six or seven years since and was entitled to certain Real estate in Kings County. Inventory, dated 28 March 1837, listed only 133 acres of land, being part of Lot 1 in Parish of Westfield, valued at £62 10s. by Ebenezer DIBBLEE and Gabriel FOWLER. On 27 February 1842 James REED, married to Olive SCRIBNER; Alexander BLACK, married to Prudence SCRIBNER; John NAPIER, married to Mary SCRIBNER; John SCOTT, married to Rachel SCRIBNER; Hezekiah SCRIBNER; David SCRIBNER; Ebenezer SCRIBNER, married to Margaret SCRIBNER; Samuel SCRIBNER married to Maria SCRIBNER, and James CHALONER, married to Elizabeth SCRIBNER, petitioned the court to have the administration render an accounting of the estate.
