Abstract Parish of Greenwich, Kings County, Yeoman. Will dated 26 January 1833, proved 18 March 1833. Wife Jane SCRIBNER one third of my real and personal estate while widow. All my surviving children an equal share. The place to be put out to best advantage until son John is age 21. Brother Seth SCRIBNER and Gould PICKETT Esq. executors. Witnesses: Robert DOUGLASS, David JONES, Abigail MERRITT, Isaac SPENCER. Inventory, filed 5 March 1833, valued personal estate at £203 and real estate at £200. Court documents indicate that the widow Jane SCRIBNER had married George SHARP by 4 May 1841 and that the deceased left seven children, four sons and three daughters, all minors.
