Abstract Parish of Coverdale, Westmorland County, Farmer. Will dated 5 March 1832, proved 12 May 1832. All lands, buildings, livestock and farming utensils to remain in possession of my son Absolam, until my son Bamford is age 21, for the maintenance of my family. After that time, estate to my four sons, Absolam, Solomon, Simon and Bamford, equally. Daughters Ann, Rosanna, Catharine, Mary and Martha each £20. Sons Solomon and Simon my pots and Sugar works which are up Coverdale River. Wife Sarah STEVES my household furniture and her maintenance and "the use and benefit of my One eyed Mare" while my widow. Sons Absolam and Solomon executors. Witnesses: John GOODALL, Lewis STEVES, Mary STEVES.
