Abstract Parish of Fredericton, York County, Merchant. Described as "James TAYLOR the Elder" in probate records. Will dated 31 October 1834, proved 12 March 1835. One-third of estate to children of my late son William. Sons James TAYLOR and John Francis TAYLOR each one-third of estate. My two sons and surviving partners in trade, James TAYLOR and John Francis TAYLOR executors. Witnesses: George J. DIBBLEE, James WILLOX, Francis BEVERLY.
