Abstract Parish of Hampstead, Queens County. Will dated 6 February 1822, proved 6 July 1822. Wife Anna VanWART use of Lot 1 on Long Island where I now live, all livestock, farming utensils and household furniture while widow. Son Garret VanWART the highland lot he now lives on. At wife's death estate to be divided among all my children, Abraham, Garret, Isaac, Jacob, Daniel, John and Mary VanWART. Daughter Mary not to have any portion of the land but to have all household furniture. Grand-daughter Anna VanWART £19 10s. Wife Anna and son Garret of Hampstead and son Abraham VanWART of the County of St. John executors. Witnesses: Stephen SMITH, Thomas GRIEMS, Stephen GOLDING. Inventory, dated 4 July 1822, valued at £1,609 by Stephen SMITH and Christopher McCONCHIE.
