Abstract City of Saint John, St. John County, Merchant. Will dated [day blank] October 1792, proved 19 May 1793. Wife Anne entire estate for life with power to dispose of all except that herein devised. After wife's death, son William £5 Sterling. Daughter Ann SANDS, wife of Edward SANDS, house and lot on Prince William Street, lots on Charlotte Street purchased from Rev. John BEARDSLEY and Dr. Peter HUGGEFORD and sons. Should daughter Ann die without issue, property to grand-daughters Ann WHITLOCK and Elizabeth WHITLOCK. Grand-daughter Ann WHITLOCK house, lot, store and wharf on Saint John street and the back rent that may be due from my son, her father, William WHITLOCK. Jonathan BLISS and Colin CAMPBELL to be guardians of grand-daughters Ann WHITLOCK and Elizabeth WHITLOCK until they reach age 18. Grand-daughter Elizabeth WHITLOCK house and lot on Charlotte Street formerly occupied by Francis GILBERT Esq. Wife Ann WHITLOCK, son-in-law Edward SANDS, merchant, and Jonathan BLISS Esq., Attorney-General of the Province of New Brunswick, executors. Witnesses: Thomas HORSFIELD, Thomas BEAN, William SLOAN.
